"Publishing Plates" Stereotyping and Electrotyping in 19th Century US Print Culture In-Person
The James Smith Noel Collection will be hosting a lecture by Dr. Jeffrey Makala that will incorporate perspectives from the fields of book history, the history of technology, material culture studies, and American studies. This talk explores a rich history of print innovation that transformed American culture.
