From Hippocrates to Stethoscopes: Dive into Western Medicine’s Greatest Hits! In-Person
From the fifth century B.C rational approach of the Greeks to the cell theory of the 1800s, physicians and medical theorists in the West diligently sought to understand the workings of the human body in health and disease. This lecture will attempt to describe and characterize some of the more noteworthy figures and their accomplishments in reaching their research goals and establishing during the nineteenth century the birth of modern medicine.
