Durable Art: The Editorial Cartoons of Preston "Pap" Dean In-Person
LSUS Northwest Louisiana Archives’ exhibition “Durable Art: The Editorial Cartoons of Preston ‘Pap’ Dean (1915-2011)” explores editorial cartoons as effective tools for understanding the social and political culture of Northwest Louisiana in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries through a 10-week exhibit. The exhibition will take an interdisciplinary approach to foster understanding and critical thinking about the historical significance and cultural impact of editorial cartooning.
