Civil War Medical History In-Person

This lecture will be a summary presentation of major medical aspects that characterized the great military conflict between northern and southern states between 1861 and 1865. By far the bloodiest war in U.S. history, it took the lives of some 600,000 plus antagonists at a time when American medicine itself was near its lowest quality of excellence in its relatively short history.
