Durable Art: The Timeless Relevance of Editorial Cartoons - Panel Discussion In-Person
LSUS Northwest Louisiana Archives' exhibition, “Durable Art: The Timeless Relevance of Editorial Cartoons,” explores editorial cartoons as effective tools for understanding the social and political culture of Northwest Louisiana in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Editorial cartoons make readers think about current issues and, in this retrospective exhibit, about those issues in a broader context. Please join us for a panel discussion about the artistic, historical, and literary aspects of these examples of "Durable Art" on Thursday, October 23, 2025, on the 3rd floor of Noel Library on the LSUS campus.
