State of Play: Analyzing Video Games In-Person
As one of the most influential forms of popular culture in the current moment, video games represent a part of how media, image, and ideas are presented and consumed by audience of all ages and demographics. This workshop will provide an interactive introduction on the way video games use processes, rules, and mechanics in addition to visual, aural, and narrative elements to communicate to their audiences.
