Thurman C. Smith: A Photographic Legacy In-Person

LSUS Northwest Louisiana Archives celebrates a legacy of artful imagery and storytelling with a curated exhibition of the work of Thurman C. Smith, renowned Shreveport photographer whose collection of images document nearly a century of Shreveport-Bossier history and represents the combined work or three major studios, Film Arbor, Alexander and Smith Photography, and Thurman C. Smith Photography. The exhibit will open the evening of April 23 and run through June 12, 2026, on the 3rd floor of Noel Memorial Library on the LSUS campus, One University Place, in Shreveport, LA.
