Banned Books Creative Writing Contest In-Person
In honor of banned books week, submit your poetry or short fiction to Noel Memorial Library’s Creative Writing Contest! Your submission must start with the first line from one of three popular banned books, including The Hunger Games, The Hate U Give, or The Handmaids Tale. You can find the exact line in the submission form. The contest begins October 1 and closes October 28. You must be a current LSUS Student to participate.
